Every Bison 1879 is fitted with an American hickory handle and wedged with both wood and steel wedges for ultimate durability. The Bison 1879 German Rhine Axes a well-balanced medium-sized felling axe. Classic European lines, coupled with a stout handle, allow this axe to handle felling, limbing and camp chores, as well as light splitting.
